Flight Arrival in Almaty, the capital of southern Kazakhstan.

Visit of the Great Lake of Almaty The visit begins with the ascent of the Great Gorge of Almaty,
where at an altitude of 2510m above sea level the Great Lake of Almaty is located.
On the way back, you can visit the falcon farm where you can watch an exciting spectacle with bird hunting.
Visit of Lake Issik. The route to one of the most beautiful gorges of Zailiysky Alatau – of Issyk passes along the Kuljinsky road. You will also visit the “Issyk” museum.

Guided tour “Steppe flower – Astana” (5 hours): Astana was founded on the right bank of the Ichim river from where we are exploring the city.
Constitution Square, Museum of the First President, Palais des Congrès will be our starting point.
Then you will have the chance to stroll along the bank of the Ishim river.
The Steppe Flower blossoms in all its beauty: Place Ronde, “Khan Shatyr” shopping center,
Main square and finally you will climb the top of the monument “Astana-Baiterek”.

After breakfast, coach to Bourabay (2 hours and 50 minutes).
Bourabay National Park is located more than 200 kilometers north of Astana (the capital of Kazakhstan).
Due to its magnificent landscapes and pleasant climate,
it is called “the Switzerland of Kazakhstan” by the locals.
Bulabai is also the “land of the prosperity of the dragons” of the important monarch Abu Khan in the history of Kazakhstan,
it therefore enjoys a special status among the local population.
This park is located between mountains and lakes, it is one of the best known resorts in Kazakhstan.
The crystal-clear lakes, dense forests and pyramidal mountains surprise many tourists.
In this beautiful national natural park, people can relax and discover the freshness of nature,
and wander through the mountains and forests.
Return to Astana in the evening.

Today you will cross the Kizilkum (red sands) Desert by road (435 km).
The barren countryside is the home to ground squirrels and tortoises.
Enroute stop to see the Amudarya River, known to explorers as the Oxus.
Due to irrigation of the cotton fields started during the Soviet times, the river is rapidly drying. The journey takes around 6 hours.
